David attended Beechen Cliff School in Bath and he recently received the honour of having a room named
after him there. The room is located in the school's newly completed English centre and the honour was
bestowed in recognition of his contribution to writing.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Bath Writers Workshop will continue to be free after its summer break.
